Committed to the belief that the arts can make a difference in the lives of families and communities, Hancher Auditorium at the University of Iowa announces a new stage in SPOT—The Hancher Family Arts Adventure.
SPOT was launched in 2005 and for four years brought two groups of artists annually to four Iowa communities. The SPOT project will continue each year.
Hancher now seeks proposals from communities to plan and implement an artist residency and performance in 2009 that will engage families.
More information on how your community can apply for a Spot residency right here. Deadline for 2009 is September 30, 2008.
